The making
Every bead, threaded by hand
No factories. No middlemen. Our artisans build each Teuta in our studio in India.
5,800+ beads one at a time onto high-tensile strength wire and nylon cord. Our proprietary mix of materials keeps the belt flexible and durable. Then the velvet lining goes on, stitched securely creating an incredibly strong, yet supple and soft piece that hugs your body.
Each piece takes several days to make. Before it ships, it is inspected three times and photographed before packing.

The materials
Made to last many years, if not decades
Silver and Black are built from high quality metal beads coated in polymer, which retain shine and makes the piece hypoallergenic. Our Gold version uses beads washed in 22K gold. Pearl White uses Japanese synthetic pearls that look and feel amazingly natural.
Glass beads and crystal tourmalines add light and bling. Every piece is fully lined in velvet.
With normal use and care, our designs will give you many years, if not decades, of beautiful, powerful, and stylish moments.

Four tassels and four bow medallions come with every Teuta, so you can change the look as often as you like.

ORIGIN OF THE NAME: Teuta is named for Teuta, queen regent of the Ardiaei tribe in Illyria, who reigned from about 231 BC to 228/227 BC.
Our story
Designed by Saida Mouradova
Object & Dawn was founded in April 2018 by designer Saida Mouradova and co-founder Michael Long. Saida studied at Parsons and designed apparel in NYC at companies including Banana Republic and Ralph Lauren for over 10 years.
Every piece begins as a sketch and is refined stitch by stitch and bead by bead. Months of testing and samples follow before any piece is released. We are a US company, headquartered in Miami Beach, Florida.

Questions, answered
How long until my Teuta ships?
Body pieces take 7 to 10 business days to prepare before they ship. Delivery time after dispatch depends on your destination. Contact us to expedite your order.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping is $25 on orders under $750 and free on orders of $750 and over, so your Teuta ships free. We ship within the USA and internationally.
Will I pay import duties?
Import duties and taxes depend on the destination country. Some orders arrive with none. For larger orders we often cover or help offset duties. We thank every client personally and will guide you through the process to ensure a happy and satisfied experience.
What is the return policy?
Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery. Items must be new, unworn and clean, and accepted returns carry a 10% restocking fee. Customers cover return shipping. Items marked Final Sale are not eligible. Full details are on our return policy page. Ensure no makeup, dirt, debris, perfume, hair, etc are on any pieces packed for return.
How do I choose my size?
Teuta has adjustable straps and a lace-up closure at the back. Choose XS/S, M/L or L/XL. Unsure? We can help! Email clients@objectanddawn.com and we will assist. Custom sizes are always an option at Object & Dawn.
How do I care for it?
Never submerge it in water. Use a soft brush or a soft, dry microfiber towel to remove dust. Clean the velvet lining with a cloth dampened with a very small amount of mild soapy water, then let it air dry. Vacuum velvet for tough dusty or debri (for example playa dust from Burning Man). Always store it in a dry place.
